I noticed a strange thing happen on Ubuntu 8.04 today (in GNOME, with
KDE also installed) - my Qt 4.5 TP1 application would sometimes (but not
always) use the KDE 4 Oxygen theme instead of the Windows or Clearlooks
Qt themes. I'm not sure why it's been doing so inconsistently, but when
it loads up KDE-styled it doesn't initialize properly and becomes
unusable. If I launch it from a bash prompt it never has the KDE theme
so I can't easily track it in gdb, but it happens sometimes when
launched by another application.

I have a few questions about this:
1. How can I make it always use the KDE theme if one is available?
2. Why wasn't it always launching consistently one way or another?
3. Could the KDE theme be responsible for the app not working when
starting? I have never had the problem unless it loads up in this KDE
state.

Thanks!
