It is so simple here: launch Assistant 4.5 rc1 supplied with installation (I have built nothing myself). Then select the QWidget page in the assistant documentation. Scroll with the thumb. When the thumb is moved about 60% down, the screw up begins and you can't miss it (basically the same line is drawn again and again). If you take the QPainter page. Problems starts when the thumb is moved about 75% down. It is worth noting that the size of the Assistant window does not matters. The problem starts at the above mentionned percentages, even for a small window. But something sure: it does not happen for small areas to scroll. This is why I mention QWidget and QPainter pages above, to be able to reproduce. I wouldn't be surprised if th problem was in QScrollArea. I am using a basic Mac OSX 10.5.6 Mac with mostly only XCode on it.
