Okay interesting. This does throw up one flaw in the WebKit plugin
architecture - if your system has an unsupported plugin like the mplayer
plugin already installed for firefox, it will seg fault and webkit will
crash if you navigate to a page containing the plug in format.

Are there any alternatives to mplayer plugin for wma / quick time or is
it worth looking at removing the xpcom dependency? You can't do anything
fancy with Phonon here can you?
