Yes, it happens all over. Even QtCreator! It has to be in QWidget somewhere. 
The mapping to application coords does not properly factor in the task bar.

It seems not only Assistant is affected, i noticed it with Linguist too.
I've made a task for the platform team, thanks for the report.
