Well, in my case, I got the same message, but I could still install 
addin and configure qt later as described on that page that you 
mentioned. In my opinion it is a bug (if Qt 4.5 SDK is installed, then 
addin SHOULD detect that and configure itself), but it can be worked 
around pretty easily. If installer did not let you check box next to 
your Visual Studio version then it has not detect Visual Studio. I think 
this is problem in your case.
