I just tried it also on my home XP laptop and here it just works as expected. In the beginning I thought it might be again Google updating their maps (as this happend before), that's why it even took until 4.5.1 to really recognize it. I gonna try it tomorrow on some other (no Suse 11) machine and see what happens. If it wouldn't work just by pointing to the 4.4 libs I would put it to some firewall problems, but this shouldn't be the case now. Which Linux did you try on ? Nevertheless, thanks a lot for the tests.
