For the records: The build was successful with the current gcc (TDM-1 mingw32) 
4.4.1) from http://www.tdragon.net/recentgcc.

BTW: Is it usual that building Qt on a state of the art machine takes about 
30h? 
I noticed that especially the moc compiler needs quite a lot of time.
