This was different in 4.4/4.5.x and 4.6.0 beta1 Now, even if "Qt::AA_NativeWindows" is not set (and this is the default), then all widgets are associated to a native window !
This can be verified with Microsoft Spy under Windows. Eg. run the Qt demo "Main Window" and you will see immediatly. I guess this is not "normal" ?
