If one sets QStyle::SH_Menu_SubMenuPopupDelay = 0 then we get a very unpleasant flickeing effect, like this:
Let's say I have a main menu bar with several menus. If a menu has a sub-menu and I move the mouse over the menu entry that opens the sub-menu, then each time the mouse moves, the sub-menu is destroyed and recreated immediatly, causing unpleasant flickering of this sub-menu. I have seen that changes were done in the popup timer implementation of 4.7 and I bet the problem is here. Tested under Windows 64 with Qt 4.7b1 32 bit.
