Hey, I know you'll never add a C++ API to QML (which surprises me - I would have thought you would just make all QML functions call C++ equivalents, but that's beside the point and has already been discussed ...) What I'm wondering is: Will we be forced to use Javascript as a front-end for QML (or a language that compiles to javascript)? While it's not the worst language out there it's not exactly the easiest to work with. Will there be a possibility of bindings to other languages (eg. Lua, Ruby) (as in, interpreters as plugins or something)? And also - are you planning to provide any sort of optimizer? Or will QML be fast enough that even the biggest apps won't need it?
