Digging up an old thread, but I just noticed it and wanted to comment. 

These are features I would like to see in Qt 5 as well. The current focus for 
Mac lighthouse plugin development is on more basic things (menus, mac style, 
etc) and these should probably be finished before starting on Lion features.

Fullscreen, process management and sandbox awareness will have to be 
implemented inside QtCore/Gui, I don't think having them as addons would be 
possible.  

As for autosave I'm less sure how to proceed, perhaps it could start out as an 
example of how to autosave QTextDocuments and/or QML Text Elements? This could 
be a nice opportunity for a contribution.
