The problem is still occurring every now and then. Suddenly I am locked to my keyboard and the current application. No log messages of any kind.

I need some pointers here, where do I start debugging? I am familiar with python (that's why I chose qtile in the first place), but I want to avoid randomly scanning the code o_O.

No I got a bunch of them but they are all from Saturday morning. No
messages after that. Since the last problem around two hours ago it is
running miraculously stable.

Are there any places I could look for further information? Systemd did
not notice any problem either. Same with xorg.

A few ten minutes later qtile froze again, this time without a

Are you still seeing the X connection errors? Unfortunately those
connection errors are generated by xpyb, and it doesn't give great
error messages.
