You could checkout the quick_exit widget and modify it slightly. ie. instead of self.qtile.stop() <https://github.com/qtile/qtile/blob/2e181cb708c134f6490fe2f62982bbd669131f9f/libqtile/widget/quick_exit.py#L67>, you'd just launch a process that shutdowns or restarts the computer.
