Hi techies,
Following some criticism of some of my comments on UK-S, I've joined
the Quackle list and just read through ALL of the postings so far -
many of which are not in a language I understand, but I am really
glad that you guys are fluent in it. :)
I'd just like to clarify to John and Jason and anyone else involved
in Quackle that I am very grateful for the work that has gone into
Quackle (and reading these postings has made me begin to appreciate
just how much work there has been) and that I'm not being negative
or unhelpful.
John and I apparently have rather different views on simming - and
that's OK.
I have done some comparisons of Maven sims of my last tournament (a
stinker in terms of equity loss) and Quackle kibitzer estimates.
I've already posted these to the UK-Scrabble list for comments. I'll
repost them here shortly and would welcome your comments too.
