Keith Brown writes: ‘Anyway, I would also like to create a library of all these games for use with Quackle. Then, even without web access, people could use Quackle to play through the games. Libraries of famous games are common in chess programs and I've always wanted to see the same in a Scrabble program.’

Absolutely agree. This would be a wonderful and long-overdue addition to Scrabble culture. I may be able to save somebody a bit of time here - I already have a library of about 300 top-class games in electronic format on my personal database, culled from various sources – in addition to some from US sources that people have mentioned, there are quite a number from UK sources e.g. games from the UK-US ISC matches posted to uk-scrabble by David Webb, and games that I have hand-entered from our TLW and Onwords magazines. Some are annotated, most are not. If there are no copyright objections, I would be happy to export the games to files in whatever format was most useful for subsequent import into Quackle – when whoever’s doing it has defined such a format let me know and we can talk.
