There's no fundamental reason it can't be made to work and, if I can 
reproduce the problem, I'll definitely fix it.  I've heard anecdotal 
evidence that it works on some, but not all Win9x/Me boxes.  Hopefully I 
can find a broken one.  But it probably won't be fixed in the next beta, as 
I've been focusing on getting the installer working and the board 
configuration tool done, and I'm taking a break for word study now so I 
won't suffer horribly at Pigeon Forge in a couple of weeks.
