[quackle] letter synergies and tile worths?

What are the meanings of the equity numbers assigned to two tile combinations in the syn2 file in the strategy folder?  I see ?? listed as -13.63.  Each blank indiviually is 21.7777, which I gathered from the worths file.

Am I correct to think that the value of ?? is (21.7777*2)+-13.63, or 29.9254?  If so, does this mean the worth of the second blank is 8.1477, or the value of two blanks minus the worth of a single blank?

Or am I interpreting these numbers all wrong? (a distinct possiblity)
