First, huge thanks to everybody involved in all facets of Quackle's development.

I have some questions and comments. I'll start with a simple one.

In the lister, is there a way to find words that have a certain prefix or suffix? The regex filter gives me a sequence of letters in a row, but they may appear anywhere in the word. Using wildcard symbols doesn't seem to help.

For instance, using the rack AENOQRT, the build feature gives me 91 words. Using the regex filter and entering Q, I now get 2 words, QAT and TRANQ (there are actually Q words without a U!). If I take the same 91 words and type in Q?T in the filter, expecting to see just QAT, I get 60 results. Most other uses of the wild cards give me 0 results. Am I misunderstanding the filter? Is it a Windows thing?

Possibly interesting aside: Doing a 2-ply sim on exchange 7 and exchange 6 (keeping Q) from an AENOQRT opening rack, I get a difference of about 9.6 in TWL06 and 11.3 in TWL98. In other words, the addition of QI has brought the initial value of the Q up somewhere around 1.7 points.

All the best,

Jim Kramer
