What surprised me is that two of my machines running different
operating systems independently did it - the Linux machine will
constantly start beeping after a while and saying it's running in
"modulated clock mode" which I think lowers the temperature.. until it
beeps again. The Windows machine gave me no warnings and then it
suddenly shut off after the fan had been on for a long time. It's
probably my hardware, but I'm sure I've run more intensive stuff than
Quackle on either computer and it's never happened...
