Wouldn't this would be extremely improbable in any game. It would involve the person taking points for previously laid tiles and not playing a single tile.
A recount would catch this and you can't do recounts in Quackle so this type of validation may be needed then. This is really very minor, it just happened by accident. If the opponent does not notice and challenge it, then the play stands. This has to be allowed then for Quackle to accurately record the actual progress of the game. ----- Original Message ----- From: Ten Den, Chris To: [email protected] <mailto:quackle%40yahoogroups.com> Sent: Monday, December 11, 2006 1:56 PM Subject: [quackle] Bug report: Overlaying on existing words I found a neat little bug. Player 1 plays RETINAS from 8D Player 2 plays ATE from 7D Now Player 1 has 'VVUUWWJ' in their rack. Player 1 types into the play line on turn 2. 8D RETINAS <enter> Into the left list, (RETINAS) for 7 points is shown, even though it is an illegal play. Cheers!
