With Vista officially in the "consumer environment" now, and a decision looming on what OS to go with for the new computer I will be building in the next couple of months, I figured I'd throw the question out there as to what the odds are that Zyzzyva and Quackle will run smoothly on the latest and greatest from Microsoft. I know it's a little early to tell yet, unless all you developer types have already run out and gotten it for your beta tests, but I was wondering if you'd heard much about any possible compatibility issues in the offings.
I'm well aware that this could spark a whole OTHER debate about whether to use MS for my OS, and let me just head it off by saying that I am fairly well tied to MS Office for communication and ease-of-sharing reasons, so I don't much need the preaching from the Linux faithful. It's pretty well decided that I will go with either XP or Vista, and I just make sure that Vista will run my favorite Scrabble tools, should I go that route. Tom -- Is it not nifty? www.sluggy.com
