No, you're not missing anything (unless I'm missing something, anyway...I've never tried the build on a Mac or Linux box). I've never bothered to automate this because there are already several manual components to the build process anyway, and the multiple make tools being used make the automation somewhat non-trivial (not immensely hard...just nothing that the Quackle team has considered a priority up till now). Quite possibly, this step isn't currently in the Readme file. I'll fix that, if nothing else, before the next release. John Fultz [EMAIL PROTECTED]
