On the plus side, a scrabbler who buys a palm probably wants it mainly
to use as a cheap electronic word list for reference, and would treat a
playable game only as a secondary benefit.  And they would almost
certainly be willing to give over the entire device for the word list. When
I posted my comment above, I was assuming a 'normal' palm user like
me with the old 68000 palms filled with software.  I usually take other
stuff out to make room if I want to run xwords on it (though I confess I
haven't done so in a long time).

We're digressing.  To bring it back on topic - see the discussion on the
other scrabble groups about the electronic word checker released
yesterday - Quackle's version of CSW is based on John O'Laughlin's list,
and you need to remove PHOCOMELIES from it!
