Further to what I previously wrote below, Zyzzyva seems to be 
similarly affected, and 10.5.1 didn't help with either.

seems to describe something similar - could someone who knows a bit 
more about how Quackle and/or Zyzzyva are put together tell me 
whether it would be worth my while trying the remedy suggested there?
