Anand and all--

My face is red. I guess I misread it. But it was good to hear from
Zax again.

    John, Jason and all--

This morning, with my Quackle set to Collins07 Championship Player,
I was given an opening rack of EEHRSTW. Seeing WETHERS immediately I clicked
on the Choices option to see if there were other bingos. After the WETHERS
first choice, several placements of WERTHES were given. Since I did not know
the word I opened my Collins Scrabble Words to look for related words. To my
surprise, WERTHES was not listed. To make sure it was not some weird anomaly,
I later set Quackle for human play, and gave my first rack as EEHRSTW. I got
the same result.

Is this a glitch in the program? Are there other phonies in the
Quackle Collins lexicon? Inquiring tilepushers want to know.

  Stu,

Perhaps you were misreading. The 2 anagrams of that rack are WETHERS and
WRETHES. I just checked using my copy of Quackle 0.95, and those were the two
words it gave as choices. Can you check again and make sure you weren't just
misreading? If it still gives you a phoney as one of the choices, then it may
be bug in your version (it always helps to quote the version number you're
using).
