[quackle] how to use quackle?

Hello,when i start quackle,1.It shows a plain board,and i cannot see
coloured tiles,that r usually there on a scrabble board.2.are there
any ratings involved in quackle? 3.i play some words which are valid
in Sowpods dictionary but it doesnt accept it,can i feed a dictionary
by myself? An early response will be appreciated,thanks!!
