Just noticed this while posting something else. If you don't have programming skills but have Excel, there is another way to use the sim log feature that may get you what you want. Generate the sim log as explained earlier. When you enter a name for the log file add a ".xml" extension. (i.e. name the file "log.xml"). You can also take an existing log file and change the extension to ".xml". Then open the file with Excel. An "Open XML" dialog box should appear. Make sure the "As an XML List" option is selected (I think this is the default) then click OK. A warning message will probably appear saying there is no schema. Click OK again. This will put each of the data fields into a separate column and you could probably get what you wanted even with no programming skills. Of course, if you have programming skills, you could do a lot more by manipulating the XML directly, but when taking a quick look at a log file, I find it more useful in Excel.
