I want to do a post mortem on a game I played. I have my racks and the words
played by my opponent. New Player 1 or Me is Human. Quackle is Human with
Unknown Racks. Is that correct? I'm hitting SET RACK after typing in each rack
of 7 tiles (me) or word (opp). An exchange is PASS, right? I would just type in
the new rack/word on the next play of mine/opp. The problem comes when I or
opponent use the blank. Say my rack is AEINST? and I type in AEINST? and hit
SET RACK. If Quackle agrees on RETSINA being the best play, if I type in
RETSINA, the ? does not come off the unseen tiles list. I can't type a ? for a
letter, right? Eventually I end up late in the game with Quackle saying I'm
trying to play an impossible play with the tiles left. So in the example of
RETSINA, if six Rs are already played on the board, Quackle asks how can you
play another R? It doesn't account for the R of RETSINA being the blank. I
usually end up with a two unplayed blanks and the score being slightly off.
Hopefully this makes sense. How do you people handle the blanks in the post
mortem? What am I doing wrong? Please help. Thanks, James.
