I am also experiencing frustration with the dentist. I go to the VA for treatment and believe it or not they now want me to transfer into their normal treatment chair. As a high level quadriplegic this is not only dangerous but impractical. I will now have to write a letter about the dangers this practice presents to me and the individuals transferring me to the chair. I believe they are trying to get me to go to another facility. I have been going to this dental clinic for six years and have the same fortune of maintaining the same dental hygienist for the entire time.

It seems like I've been particularly lucky with the dentist, before she left she was extremely understanding.  The surgery was upstairs so I use to crawl up the stairs but she couldn't do enough to help me get into the dentist chair!  Shealso treated me like a normal human being (although she did admit she had a bit of a soft spot for me so I got away with murder! ) I really should consider myself lucky!  I know I'm only a para, but I seem to be having a lot more luck with the dentist than you guys!
