I as a Canadian resent some of things you are implying in the above message. First of all I have plenty of respect for Americans accept people like Moore. I absolutely disagree with everything he says and does. I don't where you get your information but my taxes are not in excess of 50%. Mind you I have only lived here for 65 years. Also, CBC is the only government funded television station. The rest are privately owned and run privately. I agree that we rely on United States for defense as many other countries do, but we are working on trying to change our government back to the way it used to be. When this is accomplished and I believe it will be, maybe we will be so dependent on United States, but don't forget United States depends on many things from Canada as well. Gale :-)
