Amen Henry! And that information can actually change from production year to
production year, lol.
As you know, IMS was acquired by the Braun Corp in July of this year (summer)
and who know what is going to happen with IMS's design and production.
Toyota of Japan pulled its vehicles from IMS production and took it back to Japan,
blueprints and all.
I truly hope that Ahnafield never has to use any of the equipment that he has
designed or borrowed from other designers.
I've got a brand new 1995 Chevy Astro, All Wheel Drive ($20,000) with all of
Ahnafield primary and secondary driving controls, a Braun side lift, dual
batteries ($40,000). We just got it back after 7 years. Most of the Ahnafield
primary and secondary equipment doesn't function.
The van has less than 2000 miles. That's right. Less than 2000 miles on it.
We are sending the van to auction next month to the highest bidder, but you
can have it for only $10,000. Its electric blue. Both drivers and passenger
chairs are on wheels for removal. I'd like the van to go to someone like
yourself who like Ahna-controls, but I also respect you too much take advantage of
your kindness. What say Ole Man? lol.

<< There is good and bad in all companies.

A few weeks ago I had a van problem, IMS conversion, where the belt pulley
broke, cut through wires and hoses and I saw smoke coming from under the
hood. I pulled off the road, and the electrical system of the van shut down.

After having my first van burn up in the driveway after being parked for four
hours, and almost catching the house on fire, (another IMS conversion), I was
lucky enough to be invited to speak at a conference concerning handicapped
vans.

The concern that I spoke on was the possibility of a Van catching fire while
I was driving, and not being able to get out of the vehicle. Within six
months IMS had a complete new system for opening the ramp in an emergency
situation. One of the participants in that conference was Mr. Anafield, who
was very
inattentive to this problem, and his comments carried much weight at this
conference.
