Hi Todd,

Welcome back to the Q-List.  I hope all is okay for you.  I use diet to help with my BP and I don't have any problems.  Hope you're able to get the right advice about a colostomy.  Have you checked at CareCure?

Hi Everyone,

I was a member of the quad-list until about may of 2003. I had several projects going on and could not keep up with the quad-list so I unsubscribed. I have missed reading about what is going on with everyone.

I would like to hear the good and bad about Colostomies from people that have them.

I am considering a colostomy because for some time I have been having trouble with my bowel program being inconsistent. I use the magic bullet suppository and digital stimulation. Normally we do dig-stem for 2 minutes and rest for 2 minutes and it takes about 4-5 times or 20-30 minutes of digital stimulation for bowel to be empty and clean.

Lately it doesn't seem to matter what I do it will be normal for a week or two then it will take 30-60 minutes or more of digital stimulation, not just a few times but will be this way for weeks. If I change something it may or may not be normal for a week or two then it will start taking longer again.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks
