Erik,

Personally, I keep my cards in an Altoids box.  BUT before I put it anywhere, I put a staple in one or both ends them.  Then, if I drop one, I can use a magnet on the end of a string to pick it up!  I carry my magnet everywhere!  I even use it to pick up computer diskettes I might drop!  I've never lost any data from the magnetic field.... (knocking on wood.... Really Hard right now!)

As for scanning them...

I don't know how the Lexmark Z125 scanning works... I'm assuming it's a page scanner rather than flat bed? ... If that's the case, can you scan them if they are in clear sheet protectors?  That's one possibility.

Or... on a bigger scale, maybe you could try using one of those business card organizers/holders made to fit in personal organizers or notebooks.  Most office supply stores sell them ... You know, the type that has several business card-sized "pockets" in it.  Then you might be able to scan the whole sheet full of them and crop and organize several cards at once.

Just a thought... Hope something works for you!

Best regards,
Tod
