Yep, I thought of practicing first just to see how it goes.

I approached my uro and my phys med Dr. with the Mithronoff procedure when I first realized I could no longer do intermittent cathing. Just too tiring and difficult on my hands etc... Both Dr's independent of each other said that there was no urgent medical reason for this very invasive and risky procedure, as I can use a foley with no problem. Perhaps since I've only had a foley for three yrs, it's not considered a necessity yet. I just don't know. People seem to have varying opinions on this procedure and it's necessity for folks like me.

Did you get AD when your bladder filled ?  WHen I swim my bladder gets
full, I guess because of the movement of my legs.

I'm going to begin swimming again and wondered how you deal with a
Foley ?  Last time I swam I was doing intermittent cathing and it
