Hello Everyone,   As most of you know I was injured in an automobile accident in 1982.  I have had problems with my bowels ever since but I went on the flush system in 1997 and that has been working quite well for me, (although sometimes I'm on the can for two hours).  However, lately I have been going 6 or 7 days at a time without any stool coming.  Just a clear mucus that looks like it has bubbles in it.  When I do finally managed to have a bowel routine (it is humongous) and then for about two days after I have very watery slips.  Then the mucus starts again with blood in it.  I went and have a colonoscopy about six months ago and the specialist told me there was nothing wrong.   I have been toying with the idea of talking to my doctor about a colostomy bag.  The ones of you here on this list that have one is that much of a problem?  Are you able to back with it on?  Any input would be gratefully accepted.   Thanks,   Gale :-)
