In life, if it doesn't kill your neighbor and its good for you... go for it. Reiki, is not a religion but a lifestyle or way of healing using touch. I'm sure that there are some who may chose to embrace this lifestyle as a religion, but its practice is still too new as it is traced back to around the end of WWW II. Other similar but different practices could be Eck, Est, Galstalt and Silva Method-Mind Control and I'm sure I missed a few others. W
