Don't they take into consideration your medical bills? Thats the way it is
done here: take 1/3 of income minus medical bills. (which can be
'anything' from over the counter pepto bismal, stuff medicare/medicaid does
not pay, service dog exspenses--food,toys,vet bills, obedience classes,
agility classes, fees for tests such as the Canine Good Citizen, or the
TT--a temperament test put on by the American Temperament Test Society
(about $20 or there abouts) plus any other medical type supplies such as
gauze, tape, blue pads etc.
Gotta go homemaker is here!

That's great. My payment standard went up and it's half of my income
because of the price of the rent. They gave me one year. still no where to
move to, but I have to pay so much freaking money. I wish I had more time
to fight this. I'm going to, it's just taking me time. I'll keep you
updated.

My rent was recently reviewed and it was then I found out that people who
are "able" enough--like the ghetto mothers that have kids just to get more
money--now have to volunteer somewhere a certain amount of hours a month
in
order to keep their apartment. I think she said around 50 hours a month,
but don't quote me. This is in Missouri. Other than that and my rent
going down a little bit-yaaaay!--nothing had really changed. And medicaid
does cover all my meds now--except for the .50 -$2.00 co-pay, so a
Medicare
card does nothing for me. My pharmacy gives me a 15% discount too.
I did hear about the increase in medicare payments. I have part A but I
guess the payment will go up to that $70 some odd dollars. Will negate
any
  "raise" I might get.
Thats all I know! BG! take care,
