Recently I have seen discussions on pain control. I guess it's
always an issue. Gabe, my son takes 2400 mg of neurontin and it has helped.
However, the best thing has been his Baclofen pump. It controls spasticity, but
as an added benefit it calms the central nervous system down and controls
neuropathy, hyperasthesia and central cord pain.
He has had some serious problems when it stopped working. He
is on his third pump in 8 years. there only expected to work 3-5 years. He was
able to get off all of the big meds like morphine and codeine and wake up and
have a life.
