this is some really good news lol! ...even if that is today lol!
i'm just lettin' you know that we made it through all 3: charley, frances, and jeanne :). a lot of damage...most of it from the first one, charley. we probably would have been basically ok through them all but we kept getting hit by tornadoes...that's what did all the damage. we already got the allstate check for the first 2...this one may take a little longer since there was so much damage everywhere from jeanne. we really were lucky thru all 3, though. ...at le! ast our house is still here. so many folks really have it bad.
we've already started having the damage fixed, just like we did after the first 2...then every time we did...here came another one lol! ...we're almost done with the damage from jeanne. the only thing we can't have done yet is getting the roof replaced [ from charley ]. ...this may not happen for 18 months to a year. so we had the bad parts patched...and it did ok thru the next 2 :). it was the same after andrew...we couldn't have the roof replaced for almost 2 years after that one. ...but we're used to this, bein' born in miami and all :).
just wanted to let you know we's ok :). ...just really tired and burned out lol! everyone here is. ...it's a new disease called "hurricane fatigue" lol! no shit lol! wonder if i'll be seeing that one in the med books soon lol!
if anyone [ though unlikely lol! ] should happen to ask about us...it's ok to tell them...or just send this to them :! ).
