am a C 6 quad. For about two months I have been running a low-grade

I have to take up to six hydrocodone a day. I have already been to
the doctor; after a two week stay in the hospital and four MRI'S they
told me that they could not find anything wrong with me except that I
have arthritis in my lower spine. Has anyone had this problem or
advise? I would greatly appreciate it.....
Hi there,

Hows your back feeling now?  I get the severe lower back pain constantly and am on a high amount of pain relief for it.  Like with yourself I've also been told constantly by the doctors that they can't find anything wrong.  One thing I do to try and ease the pain is to get someone to massage it, that's the only way I can get any decent pain relief.  Have you tried using a TENS machine at all?  They are meant to help with easing the pain.  If you have arthritis, my mum uses anti inflamartories (sp) to help control her arthritis.  The other thing you could try are heat therapies; not sure if they will help or not but anythings worth a try yeah?

Keep me posted,
