I had a friend do that a couple of years ago. Of course he was able bodied so easier to get around.  He made a milk carton and put his face in it with a missing sign, glued a bowel and spoon and a cereal box to it.  It was a great costume.  Someone else put cardboard behind them and painted like a street, messed themselves up and went as road kill. Hopefully the effect would be a head sitting on a table.  I don't know if it's possible but it sounds great to me. Have a great day or should we say Halloween! Gale :-)
