This is a normal "First Line Offense" strategy when it comes to politics.
Dishonor, discredit and disown your opponent. They way, they will spend most
of the election trying to defend only that issue. I'm surprised that such a
courageous individual like McConn didn't turn Democrat. But that can happen to
anyone seeking politics ... these days.
