O'Reilly's lawyer, Ronald Green, said he believes there are tapes of conversations between the two and asked a court to compel Mackris to produce them so they could be played publicly.
"I know that he does not fear what is on the tapes," Green said.
Morelli would not comment on whether any taped phone conversations exist.
Now if they didn't exist what was he afraid of and if she was trying to blackmail the guy for 60 million you think she had nothing but her word?
Some Republicans do the wrong thing why is this impossible to believe? And 2-10 million seems like a whole lot for dirty phone call to me either way and not out of line for a harassment case.

He wanted to fight the case but his lawyers convinced him that while
accusations make the front page, aquitals get page 10.
There were only "alleged tapes", the Liberal media can't even be honest
about that.
She claimed she had some.
His lawyers demanded the "alleged tapes" to be brought forth into
evidence. This was to prove they didn't exist.
No proof they ever existed.
Then the case was closed, anything made out of it pure conjecture.
I heard 2 mil, a lot less than the 60 mil she wanted.
If she really had tapes, it would have cost him a lot more than that.
