Tony,

I apologize for seeming hostile. I'm so tired of the GLB community being scapegoated for our loss, just like Nader in 2000 was blamed. BUT I don't know if you heard, Clinton suggested that Kerry publicly come out against gay marriage (which he is) and to make an issue of it. Kerry refused to do this and for that, he is my hero. NOW, I believe he has set a precedent for the Dems supporting GLB rights. BTW, I could give a crap about "marriage" but simply want my legal documents honored, and I want people who specifically target me and my brothers and sisters to be charged with hate crimes. You can't mandate that people accept what they believe is wrong, but we can make it illegal to intentionally harm someone because of fear, hate and bigotry. Ohio's new law is very clear that it will not recognize any two people gay or straight, who act as a couple and are not legally wed. The most strict language in the country. The GLB community was so incredible passive about campaigning against this amendment, it shames me. I knew it would pass.
I've had my week of pity part, now it's time to respond to the biggest voter fraud in the history of the nation. for more info check this out and give to this campaign if you can:

river...i',m sorry i sounded so passive about your situation!! i didn't mean it, i was just trying to ease your mind, as i've tried to ease mine since the election. I never thought that 11 states could ban gay marriages, but they did easily...i believe in EQUALITY for everybody, but the right has organized it's vote more than ours.

again, sorry i trivalized your plight....tony
