Reeve looked progressively worse in the last few years of his life. I wonder if he was trying any experimental therapies, i.e. drugs or otherwise, that may have unintentionally shortened his life.
I believe that very thing. I think he was letting any and all research possible be done on him despite safety. Yes, in other words - guinea pig.
When I FIRST heard what the media told us (a pressure wound and died as a result of heart failure) was not entirely true. Infections can kill you but they don't SUDDENLY send one into cardiac arrest.
I have been in bed 24/7 the last two weeks letting my wound of FIVE MONTHS heal. I laid there watching the news surprised. The FIRST thing I thought of was 'experimentation gone wrong.' Of course the Drs won't say or admit to that but Chris may have signed on the dotted line for a certain risky procedure/injection/???? May have even been stem cells! It MAY have backfired.
As Steve said .. he looked progressively worse. But remember too ... one day we saw him with all his wavy hair ... the next time an aging man. Almost overnight. Chemo does that in weeks. Chemo is experimental & hopeful. What was Chris experimenting with all these months & yrs? THAT may never be revealed for a host of reasons.
And with his set of Drs ... HE, out of us all, was probably be receiving THE best Dr care possible. Heart tests, lung tests, everything constantly.
He took high risks I'm afraid. The result ... family tragedy.
I'm looking forward to the Ellison Story ... his last project.
