It's failed the majority of the working class people with higher taxes than the wealthiest.
BTW Fair Aid was put on by Dems Like John Mellencamp, Willie an Independent that voted Kerry who actually care enough about the Heartland to do something important about it.

You jumped to one conclusion. That most of kerry's supporters were
productive citizens. Look at the welfare centers and calculate.
The "Great Society" experiment that failed overwelmingly voted for
kerry.
Now, look at the heartland that keeps America and a lot of the worlds
bread. The working class no longer supports the party that presumes to
represent them.
They made too many mistakes in the past couple of decades.
