Wheel,
Stomach acids in the upper intestine have not been neutralized. The 
acid burns the skin and exposes the inner layers to some very nasty 
bacteria living in the intestinal track. The resulting infection can 
become life threatening.
To anyone out there wearing a colostomy bag, if it leaks or breaks get 
help ASAP.
