I don't know if Kobe was guilty or not but I really got the feeling she wasn't too innocent by no means.
As far as those players and fans go even if he threw a beer it's not the players place to take the law into his own hands, this man that threw the beer was breaking the law and security is at fault here, they should've taken control of this and the players should stick to playing ball.
I think this was a total disaster for the NBA and these men are supposed to act like men I mean I seen what started this fight and it was nothing out of the ordinary and I've seen a whole lot worse fouls than what started this mess I thought it was a total lack of sportsmanship and the NBA does need to make a statement that this isn't acceptable for anyone no matter who they are.

Have you given the justice system any credit. Maybe even if there are some that think differently that Kobe is innoncent of rape, guilty of adultry never denied it. But she was less than credible. How can you say they got less than they deserve, the fan threw the beer which couldve cost that guy his career. Whos 2 say what freak accident couldve happened, that was assault!!!! The players should be suspended & fined but not indefinate. But silas Im getting a vibe that if maybe it wouldve been steve nash, austin croshere, and scott pollard you might have a lil more leniency.

Man it was a good fite. Lol. Well maybe im speaking out of turn, but some of these players think their God. They think they can get away with anything, assault rape murder and their multi millions will get them off scott free. Look at Kobe Brient do you think if he was a regular Joe that he would have walked (hell no). Just my opinion but I think they got less than they deserve. Silas

I think the NBA will do the right thing after the investigation is over. On another note there will be some massive law suits and these fans will be rich when it's over. Ben Wallace & Ron Artest I understand. Jermaine O'Neal & Stephen Jackson should be suspended & fined 4sho but indefinite suspension. We're loosing 3 starters for a long time. I'm sure that Jermaine & Jackson will at some point be back but this could cost us our whole season. :( I'm sure everyones seen it on tv by now. Lets take a poll what do you feel should happen to the players involved?
Statement from NBA Commissioner David Stern Concerning the Altercation During the Detroit Pistons and Indiana Pacers Game Last Night at The Palace of Auburn Hills
NEW YORK, Nov. 20 -- NBA Commissioner David Stern issued the following statement today:
The events at last nights game were shocking, repulsive and inexcusable -- a humiliation for everyone associated with the NBA. This demonstrates why our players must not enter the stands whatever the provocation or poisonous behavior of people attending the games. Our investigation is ongoing and I expect it to be completed by tomorrow evening.
The NBA has taken the following actions, effective immediately:
1. Indiana players Ron Artest, Stephen Jackson and Jermaine ONeal are suspended indefinitely, the length to be determined upon completion of the investigation.
2. Detroit player Ben Wallace is suspended indefinitely, the length to be determined upon completion of the investigation.
