[QUAD-L] supra-pubic and diabetes

Hi, all.. does anyone have a supra-pubic and have diabetes also ? I have been diagnosed with diabetes when i got a uti back in febuary. They got rid of the uti and i was managing my diabetes by eating properly. Now i have been fighting a uti for several months--my doctor hates to treat uts's.  Here is my question---2 friends say that by being a dibetic you must alway's take the medicine for it or it can cause infections.......does anyone know if this is true??               Thanks, Dan C-6 car wreck 1997 ...... lost AOL for a while now got it back and on list again ;-)
