Believe me I know all about the weight thing. I don't use it that often maybe twice a week, when I'm hurting or going out for a big shopping trip. I do exercises everyday now to keep in shape, I don't want to lose my strength for transfers etc either. Having this chair makes my life so much easier when going out.
